Snow!

The whole city was mine. I walked through it and the snow was falling, falling, falling. Oh, just marvellous. Cold? Wind? Nevermind - it wass all so full of charm. Just let it snow, let it snow! I could dwell upon this subject endlessly- childhood memories, symbolics and so on. But it is not the point. I mean, that's it - "in life, beautiful are only moments" as sung Rysiek Riedl. So I've been walking, enjoing the moment and in the end with mouth full of wind reciting fragments of this poem:

Piosenka dla zapowietrzonego

Cudownie jest:
Powietrze jest!
Dwie ręce mam,
Dwie nogi mam!

W chlebaku chleb,
Do chleba ser,
Do picia deszcz.
-------------------------
-------------------------
Nadchodzi noc
I zimno z nią.
Mam ręce dwie,
Obejmę się.

Ukryję się,
Utulę się
We własną sierść.
-------------------------
-------------------------
Daleko świt,
Nie widać nic.
Dwie nogi mam,
Dojdziemy tam.

Szczekają psy!
Fruwają mgły!
Niech pani śpi!
-------------------------
-------------------------
Powietrze jest:
Cudownie jest!

Edward Stachura

Thus I officially admit that I'm incurably ill on Stachura.
Unfortunatelly, there is very, very little of Sted's works translated into English. I may write this blog in English, but I still live in Polish language. Eh.

November rain

23:23-nice hour
I just returned from SKG meeting. Today there were slides from the US work&travel trip of a one guy: lake Tahoe, Sierra Nevada mouintains and San Francisco, yeah. At the end "Stop and stare" stong which is still clanging in my head.
I started to consider going to such programme, of course.

My hair are totally wet. I enjoyed this walk back trough the city in november rain. Romantic? Very Kerouac-on-the-road alike? I have a rare feeling of unity. But GNR song reminds me "nothin' lasts forever (...)And it's hard to hold a candle/In the cold November rain" with so touchy Slash's guitar solo.
I know, I know this deeply.
